GUWAHATI — State investigators have successfully filed a 12,000-page chargesheet formally accusing four individuals of murder, skillfully correcting a glaring oversight by Singapore Police who had concluded just months earlier that a cultural icon's September drowning involved "no evidence of foul play."

The primary breakthrough in the investigation reportedly occurred in November, when the Chief Minister stood before the state assembly and announced that the death of the famous singer-composer-actor was a "plain and simple murder." Following this crucial forensic diagnosis by the head of state, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) was able to confidently finalize its findings and name seven accused the very next month.

"When foreign authorities investigate an incident, they often limit themselves to objective evidence rather than political will," a state spokesperson explained. "Fortunately, our leadership recognized that an incident with this much public interest requires a much stronger, more decisive narrative, which we have now provided in 12,000 pages."
